The portraits workshop with Phyllis Oliver on May 16 was a great success. Participants sketched from a live model, sealed their drawing with shellac and then painted over with a light oil wash. It was a delightful learning experience and something all of the participants would like to do again.

The Colors of Fall with Phyllis Oliver

In the media of your choice, learn to observe and paint the colors of the fall. Work with the medium and suject of your choice. All levels welcome. If you are a beginner, a supply list will be provided. Classes are Tuesdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Costs are $100 for four lessons or $25 a class for drop-ins. Drop-ins are welcome. Pencil Lover’s Group with Carol Bradshaw

This class is for artists who have previous drawing experience. Students will be working on their own projects with instructor guidance and critique. Classes held on 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Classes start on September 8th and continue through December 8th. Cost for 6 week course is $120 or $20 per class. Beginning Drawing with Carol Bradshaw

This is a structured series of 6 three-hour classes in graphite for the person who has never drawn before or for those who wish to brush up on the basics of drawing. Classes start on Thursday, September 15th and continue through October 20th from 9 - 12 am. Cost is $150 for the 6-week course. Supply list with registration. Drawing Solutions-Those Pesky Ellipses- with Carol Bradshaw

Drawing ellipses gives everyone grief. Drawing Solutions-Drawing Ribbons and Bows- with Carol Bradshaw

Learn how to draw and shade ribbons and bows in this quick little drawing class.  Ribbon shapes are in many places, including ballet shoes!  Get ready for the Ballet Theme at the Symphony coming up this December (?) OIL:

Beginning Oil Painting with Glen Jelletich.

Always wanted to paint in oil and didn't know where to start? This is the class for beginning students in oil. Students learn the three color system as well as secondary colors, including brown and black. Use of different brushes and a variety of brush strokes will also be taught. Fun with Watercolor with Iva Fendrick

We will explore the different techniques of using watercolor. If you have always wanted to try the wonders of watercolor, come join us!
