The Bakersfield Art Association presents a satellite exhibition at Dagny's Coffee Shop 1600 20th St. featuring Chrissy Rodgers 's artwork throughout September.
Local artist, Chrissy Rogers was first introduced to horses as a child, and she expressed her interest through drawing.
She now paints them in acrylic or oil on campus, capturing their spirit through expression, gesture, and color.
Recently her piece “The Third Braid” was awarded second place in the fifth district as part of the “Best of Kern” That work will be included in this show
