JIM BATES AT DAGNY’S 

 Jim Bates is a California native and California educated.  Art has always been one of his passions outside of family.  He has worked in almost all art forms but prefers three special types, watercolor, acrylics and pen and ink.

Jim has a variety of subject interests and it shows in his work.   Most of his work is done at his studio in his home from photography that have been taken by him or given to him from others.  

He enjoys the coast around Morro Bay, Cayucos and Cambria and a few of his works will be in the Dagny's show.  He is especially amazed at the possibilities of subjects that are around Kern County and the nearby coastal areas.

Being able to show his work at Dagny's is an opportunity that he fully appreciates.  He hopes that the people who patronize Dagny's will appreciate his work and possibly tell their friends about his show.
