"SHOWING at BAA ART GALLERY"

 Deborah is a California native. She is mostly a self taught artist who has been drawing and painting for most of her life, presently painting mostly in oil.  She enjoys painting still lifes, portraits, cats and dogs, and some landscapes.

   She has  benefited greatly from videos, YouTube, art  classes at BAA, participating in Kathy Schilling Art Studio, Claire McDowell’s art studio, and various on line art classes. She has been influenced by the art work of David Leffel and other artists who’s work is based on the Dutch masters and Chiaroscuro. 

   The human eye loves to pick out the light and will dance around a painting following the flow of light. Lost and found edges help direct the viewers eye. 

   She feels she has a lot more to learn and explore and is always challenged to move forward in her art
